I Love Elves

I grew up with an Elf that came around my house each year at Christmas. Elfie would give me presents, and still does! This Elf got to know my family really well. Elfie was always on the look out for children being naughty or nice. This Elf is so cool that Elfie now has extended his friends to be the lookout for my niece and nephews. Little Elfin, Elfina, Little Elfers, Elfy with a y and Elfinuplin.

Lily, my niece, is so great at writing letters to her Elf, and gets really excited when the elf writes back. It's the magic of believing. Seeing the hope of something mysterious and magical wrapped up in the goodness of innocence makes me feel super happy. It's part of the spirit of Christmas.

Elfie is excited and finished shopping today. Elfie bought Mary Ella and Isabella some warm hats and mittens! It feels great to give.
